“I think, therefore I am”, are the words of the great French mathematician and philosopher, Rene Descartes. I heard this inspiring quote, from my high school mathematics teacher, and thanks to him, it became my favorite subject right from my high school days.
I am Ajay Makkuni, have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, and I have been fortunate to learn under some great teachers, advisors, and mentors during my academic and corporate journey. It is that great liking for the subject that led me to pursue mathematical modeling, process simulation, and computer programming during my chemical engineering career. It is also responsible for my deep interest in financial and investment activities at a personal level.
I truly enjoy teaching and mentoring! Although an engineer by profession, I have been always interested in the different facets of the teaching process, be it content development, presentation, target audience, comprehension, retention, application, or independence.
